Volunteer With Us

CARRM fulfills its two primary goals of academic outreach and fundraising through the hard work of our chapter executives and Board of Directors. However, without the help of our volunteers we can’t maximize our potential as beneficial source to the dedicated researchers trying to bring stem cell therapies to life in medical treatment.

How can I volunteer?

If you’re a post-secondary student, visit our ‘Chapters’ page to find out if a CARRM chapter is located at your school. From there, you can register as an official general member and be presented with various opportunities to volunteer your time at conferences, fundraisers and other type of events hosted by your school’s chapter.

What can I expect?

Many of our volunteers end up furthering their knowledge about the very cause they’re donating their time to. Regenerative medicine is constantly progressing and new discoveries are frequently being made. As a volunteer with CARRM, you can stand at the forefront of stem cell technology by keeping up to date with what’s happening at research facilities in Canada and across the globe. You can even meet your chapter executives and find out how you can step up your role if you’re looking to make a larger impact. As a general member you can also network with researchers attending CARRM events and meet the scientists devoting their efforts to stem cell research. Most of all, expect to feel a sense of gratification. By volunteering with us, you help spread the word and raise funds for research that will eventually bring life-sustaining stem cell technology to fruition.
